Good
Morning Cathy!
The day that you read my email on the air, I was out running errands
and happened to have my radio on in the car...I was so happy to hear
you talk about my problem! Sorry I didn't have my phone number in
the email. I added a grocery stop to my list of things to do that
day and purchased the Soft Scrub w/Bleach and it did work remarkably
well. I highly recommend that product to everyone. Thank you for
that advice!
Thank you again for your response, with the
information that you provide on your shows and all of the neat things
that you do for your listeners. I also enjoy the people that you
interview who have written books--very informative and fun to listen
to. You're the BEST!
Thanks! Joan T.

Cathy-
I so enjoy your program...I moved here from Seattle about 1 1/2 yrs ago and I
have told all of my many West Coast friends about your program and share your
topics and info from the call-ins in our long distance conversations. Your program
regarding compasionate intervention is exactly what my friend in San Diego needed
for a family member. Two days after that broadcast she called me regarding a
family members need for an intervention but the family was terrified of the confrontation.
I gave her your guests web site and she and the rest of the family are very,
very thankful to learn about it and are in the process of reading the book.
Your work helps people far and wide, Cathy. Thank You!!

Dear Cathy,
For five and
a half years I have been suffering from what was finally diagnosed
this year as acid reflux. I have had no heartburn, but instead,
a persistent tickling in my throat, followed by violent coughing,
and then constantly, for about half an hour to an hour after that,
clearing of my throat. I'm a singer and this eventually ruin my
voice. I tried all sorts of remedies, saw three different doctors
about this, and was finally put on Nexium. The Nexium took care
of the problem, but since my insurance doesn't pay for drugs, it
was costing me $120 a month. I was in despair of ever being well
again without paying a very high price.
A few months
ago I was listening to Dr. Allie on Problems and Solutions, when
she mentioned taking one chewable Tums tablet a day for the daily
calcium requirement. At the time, I was taking Citracal and paying
quite a price for it. I decided to take up her advice and began
my daily Tums.
Within a month
or so I noticed I was no longer coughing. My voice has returned,
and I am singing once again. I wish I had known this five years
ago! Thank you Dr. Allie for your wonderful advice. Now for only
pennies, I have, not only my daily need of calcium, but the added
benefit of no more acid reflux.
I am a very grateful
woman.
Sincerely,
Janet S.

Hi Cathy,
I had 6 calls
for the tree!! So the now "the little tree that will some
day be a very big tree" has a home in the country with a nice
lady named Doris that couldn't afford to buy trees for her acreage.
She was the first to call.
As for the candy
corn, I didn't get any calls, but last Sat I went to Gordmans and
rummaged through every Christmas candy display they had; and low
and behold, I found 2 little packages of that allusive Christmas
colored candy corn!! Just in time to give out my Christmas snack
mix on Monday!! Yahoo!!
So thank you
very much for announcing my requests over the radio. I was so happy
to be able to give that little tree a home. I just think your program
is the greatest.
Thanks again

Hi Cathy,
I just wanted
you to know that Lincoln KFOR listeners seem to always come to
the rescue.
Even some businesses
have you tuned in. That's how I got help with my camera from Images
II and found a relaxation CD because The Way Home shop owner in
Indian Village had his radio on in his car. I had calls where to
find a mature "smoke tree" and people are kind enough
to leave messages, even mailing me pages out of catalogs for certain
products.
Thanks too for
re-running "The Best of Problems and Solutions" because
that way I can tape the interview and if I give the book as a gift
I include the tape so the person can listen to it ahead of time
and get "a feel" for the author and their message.
Keep up the great
work! Mary V

Good Morning
Cathy,
First, THANK
YOU so much for the web site and the book chat listings.......the
Library Ladies are my favorite program on Problems and Solutions.
Your program
reminds me of growing up in northeast Nebraska when my mother would
listen to the "Neighbor Lady" on WNAX in Yankton, S.D.
Thanks for providing a program that is informative and gives us
the opportunity to help one another with the "open phone" format.
I wish you a
blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving!

Hi Cathy,
I called Friday
for help with a string of lights and my van and no outlet.
Got three calls.
One led me to Menard's and I found the perfect adaptor for what
I wanted.
I agree the KFOR
listeners are awesome! Thanks a bunch!

Dear Cathy!
The entire city
of Lincoln listens to and plans their day around KFOR! It's great
listening to "our friends". You are all terrific.
I enjoyed the
gentleman who talked about his book about having a will!
I heard him while I was driving around, so, you see, Lincoln listens
to your station no matter what we are doing. I would really like
the telephone number he gave about getting his book. If you have
it you could call me at home and leave it for me.
Give our compliments
to your fellow workers at KFOR. You and KFOR are the best!
Sincerely,
Evette

Cathy,
I sent you an
e-mail last week looking for some hard-to-find jars. I got 4 calls,
just one right after another, because of Problems & Solutions
on Friday. It was my work number, but that was OK.
One lady from
out by Denton delivered them right to the office!!! I was really
pleased. Thanks again for you help - what response I got!! Now
I know where to go when I need something.
