Cathy’s guest is cookbook author Marie Rama, co-author of Cooking Basics for Dummies – 5th Edition. The are 250 million copies of the popular Dummies series of books in print today. What seemed like a novelty in the beginning has lasted a very long time! This book on cooking basics is designed to appeal to both beginning and experienced cooks and helps you master grilling, slow cooking, baking, roasting, pressure cooking, and more. It also includes tips on adapting meals to meet the latest dietary trends, and how to shop for and prepare different kinds of fish and seafood with confidence. The book also contains more than 150 recipes. Marie has previously joined Cathy to discuss her books Bacon Nation and Grilling for Dummies.
