Extension educator and nutrition expert Alice Henneman joins Cathy to talk about how to makeover your leftovers. About 40 percent of the available edible food in our country is thrown away each year at a cost of about $370 per person. In addition, if we reduce the amount of tossed food it also helps protect our planet’s resources. Alice will share ways to save money by reducing tossed food with lots of helpful tips. ( )
